Song Of The Day: "Vondelpark" by Jess Kemp

Hey guys!

I think it's safe to say- 2017 has been treating us with a lot of great releases so far.
Of course, us music bloggers are super excited about that - afterall it gives us the content we need.
However, it gets those stress levels high because we literally want to cover every single tune we come across and love.

This tweet pretty much sums up how I'm feeling at the moment.
But yeah, we're taking it one song at a time and I'm already so excited to see what else 2017 has in store for the music lovers.

- Song Of The Day: "Vondelpark" by Jess Kemp -

Jess Kemp is a singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK.
Her sound neatly ties together Acoustic, Folk and Pop, creating a refreshing, original and energetic style.

Jess started making music as a teenager and has been a part of Manchester's lively music scene ever since.
By gigging non-stop and releasing her debut single "Stars" in March 2015, Jess has managed to build herself a loyal fanbase.
Her debut EP "Camden" didn't just convince her fans, it also got the support of BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 2.

In 2016, Jess and her band toured Europe and played some special shows in the Netherlands.
One particular gig at Amsterdam's Vondelpark, probably sparked a little flame of inspiration for Jess' newest single - "Vondelpark".

On March 10th, Jess released her new song "Vodelpark".

It starts off with a calm, yet happy sounding acoustic guitar, before a steady drum beat and a soft bassline join the intro.
The instrumentation already nods heavily towards Jess Kemp's signature style - and that's fabulous. Once the musician starts singing, you know you're in for a treat.
The song has a very journey-esque feeling to it and it demands your attention.
